THERE HAS NEVER BEEN A BETTER TIME FOR IT! LET’S WATCH LARP* VIDEOS TOGETHER!
I AM SO EXCITED ABOUT THIS POST THAT I AM HOLDING DOWN THE CAPS LOCK KEY.
Zombie Attack (1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1)
You’ll need to skip the hyperextended ‘we are zombies look at us’ intro sequence to get to the real meat of the video. I think every time somebody hits with a sword they shout out how much damage they do, based on their character’s proficiency with a given weapon.
Oh god! Not Danmark!
I’m pretty sure this one is the nerd equivalent of going out on a Friday night, drinking ten pints and then smashing a pint glass into the face of somebody smaller than yourself. The crazy moon language they all speak just adds to the effect.
I dare you to keep a straight face
Seriously I fucking dare you. Make sure the sound is turned all the way up (I have to admit though, these guys look like they are having fun)
I am a powerful wizard
LIGHTNING BOLT! LIGHTNING BOLT! (sleep)
Lots of Germans seem to play LARP
Then again lots of Germans like scat porn (if you do not know what scat porn is, do not look it up).
If anybody else finds more LARP videos I would, of course, like to see them.
*if you do not know what larp is, go and find out from somebody less derogatory about it than me

I like how the zombies start out limping, with their heads sagging to one side, but then they get tired and replace bizzare ambulation with extra grunting.
I’ve never seen this before. It looks harmless. A good way for some people to work out their aggression?
My son & his friends used to have paint ball wars all the time. They’d put on their camoflage & war paint. pretty much the same thing, I’d guess.
sometimes i’m ashamed to be a member of the human race.
L>T: Live action role play is a harmless, escapist fantasy. However, the idea of trying to play Dungeons & Dragons in real life using foam swords is pretty amusing to me.
KingZombie, a very good friend from Iowa, did this:

That’s not LARP, that’s 1000% awesome!
